National Award winning actress Rituparna Sengupta who has conquered millions of hearts in her home state is making her mark in Bollywood. She has already signed quite a few films in her kitty. Presently she is shooting for ‘Gauri The unborn’ opposite Atul Kulkarni & Anupam Kher also stars in the film. This film is Produced by R.Mohan (maker of Chandni Bar & Gardish).

Says Rituparna, “I'm so glad working with the hit- combo of ‘Chandni Bar’, Atul & R Mohanji. It's a very challenging role and I'm looking forward to the release of the film.”

Rituparna is also looking forward to 'Saab Chai Paani' which revolves around the hard hitting ‘Ardh Satya’. Rituparna is cast opposite Sonu Sood and the film with an interesting name is directed by the talented Manish Sood (writer of ‘Sarkar’, ‘D’).

“Manish is very talented and doesn't compromise on the quality of shots. He is energetic & efficient. And Sonu is such a dedicated actor but unfortunately I didn't get to work with Om Puri in the film. I really admire his work,” Rituparna says

She will also be seen in national award winning director Ujjwal Chatterjee's film based on a Rabindranath Tagore's Novel, starring opposite Ashmit Patel, Jackie Shroff and Anuj Shawney. And also proving the fact that acting transcends boundaries, She will beworking in an English film 'Hidden' opposite British stage actors Samuel Risby, Stuart Parker and Akshay Walker.
